Location: Remote (Regional Field-Based)
Salary: £29,000–£34,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
My client, a specialist provider of safety and evacuation solutions, is looking for a Service Technician to join their field service team. This role involves carrying out installations, preventative maintenance, and reactive servicing across customer sites while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive servicing on customer sites
- Install and maintain specialist safety equipment
- Complete digital service reports and documentation accurately
- Plan and manage service visits using company systems
- Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
- Identify potential sales or replacement opportunities during site visits
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and customer site regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a field service or maintenance role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing workload remotely
- Good IT skills, including tablets and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience completing service documentation and reports
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
